“Euphoric”
On January 9th 2015, 12 musicians from 7 Nile Basin countries arrived in NY for the beginning of an historic tour. Much more than just a band, the New York Times called The Nile Project “a committed, euphoric international coalition”. During the next four months, the Nile Project traveled over 20,000 miles back and forth across 20 states. They visited 25 universities, plus stops at the Lincoln Center and the United Nations, engaging over 30,000 people through more than 120 workshops and 60 concerts. And during this epic tour, Jinja was recorded.
