Experts in the Nile River and water politics will discuss the challenges and political realities of managing and protecting the resources of the Nile River.

Panelists include Dr. Farouk El Baz, Director of the Center for Remote Sensing and Research Professor at the Departments of Archaeology and Electrical & Computer Engineering, and Associated Faculty at the Department of Earth and Environment, Boston University and Dr. Jessica Barnes, Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography and Environment and Sustainability Program at the University of South Carolina. Her work focuses on the culture and politics of resource use and environmental change in the Middle East.
