Joanita is a student at Makerere University, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning. She was born and raised in Jinja, in the eastern part of Uganda. She is passionate about environment, leadership, and creating social change in a community. She likes making friends, interacting and networking with children and youths, and loves reading. In her free time, Joanita writes fiction, listens to music, sings, goes swimming, and plays the guitar.
