Dr. Siddig is an Associate Professor of Agricultural Economics at the University of Khartoum, Sudan.

He is an Agricultural economist with more than 15 years of experience in research and teaching in areas of agricultural economics, trade, and economic policy analysis.

He is experienced in economic database development, general equilibrium, and macro-simulation models. He is geographically interested in east Africa and the Middle East.

Fluent in Arabic and English, acquires B2 proficiency in German, and highly mobile.
