Mohamed Kamal

Egyptian guitarist and goumbri player, Mohamed Kamal is inspired by Nubian, Gnawa, and other “desert music.” Mohamed has studied with the Grammy award winning Egyptian musician Fathy Salama, Mohamed. Following the Egyptian Revolution, he founded the group Looperia, which has since performed at festivals throughout Egypt.
